Created exclusively for the Centennial Collection, the Aggie Patchwork Top is one of the most personal pieces in the collection. Every element was designed by Luke Barron for Thee Illustrious—from the distinctive fit and construction of the garment itself to the collection of embroidered artwork across the chest.

Luke intentionally reworked the proportions of a traditional tee to create a more contemporary silhouette. The body was shortened by 2 inches, while the sleeves were extended by 2.25 inches for a boxier, slightly cropped appearance. A subtle drop shoulder adds to the relaxed shape, while the wide ribbed collar was specifically designed with a lower profile so it lays flatter against the neck rather than creating a mock-neck appearance.

The centerpiece is an intricate collection of individually designed embroidered and patchwork elements celebrating Aggie history, culture and tradition. Aggie Pride. Aggie Bred. 1891. North Carolina A&T. Greensboro. Pride. Each element has its own shape, typography and personality, coming together like a collection of vintage collegiate patches gathered across generations.

Set against a clean white heavyweight body, the dimensional Navy, Aggie Gold, black and white embroidery gives this piece texture and detail that has to be seen up close to fully appreciate.
